We have been loved and owned by labrador retrievers for the past 16 years and have been breeding and showing in the conformation ring for the past 13 years. We love and breed all three colors, (black, yellow, chocolate). We only breed quality bitches to approved stud dogs with breeding clearances which include hips/elbows/eyes. All our puppies are sold on AKC limited registration with spay/neuter contracts. We not only provide a healthy bundle of fur joy but we also include a written guarantee/warranty for hips/elbows/eyes. In our breeding program we strive for temperament, health and of course good looks don't hurt.

Rycroft has puppies in all three colors and is home to CH. Blackthorn Strike The Gold, CD, CGC. "Dusty" is the sire of guide dogs and guide dog breeding stock as well as the sire of my upcoming young chocolate male, Coprqst Rycrft Secrets O'Gold, Champion pointed from the puppy classes. I believe in breeding dogs of sound temperments, confomation, and joints. All breeding stock is OFA hips and elbows as well as CERF anually. I only breed 1-2 litters a year if that. All pet puppies are sold on AKC limited registration and spay/neuter agreements. Each litter is therefore carefully planned .

Breeding for multi-purpose labradors, we enjoy showing in conformation, obedience, hunt tests and agility. Responsible breeding is a priority at Shadowmyst. We breed for genetic soundness, temperament, working ability, conformation and a personality we can live with. All breeding stock are OFA hips and elbows and ACVO eyes cleared annually. Pet puppies are sold on limited registration and a spay/neuter contract. Puppies are microchipped and introduced to birds before going home. They also have their eyes examined at 7-8 weeks and are temperament tested. Shadowmyst is the home of Specialty BOB winner, Ch. Chelons Mac The Knight JH, CD, WC. We breed selectively on a limited basis and have black and/or yellow puppies. Information and pictures sent on request.

Mary Anne and I (Chuck Roland) have bred labs as a hobby for over thirty years. We became involved in the show world in 1993-94. We noticed a lot of dysplasia among friends dogs and some we purchased about ten years ago. We have really focused on hips since that point. A recent audit of our final OFA's revealed a ten year average of over 50% Excellents and the past three years we have over 70% Excellents on dogs we have bred who have a final OFA. We have several pointed dogs at our home as well as our first home-finished CH, CH Coulee Creek's High Cotton. We have Labs involved and titled in field events but our primary focus is soundness, temperament, and conformation.

We are a small kennel and breed for temperament, soundness and ability. I compete in conformation, obedience, agility and beginning in field and tracking. All dogs are OFA'd on hips, elbows and hearts as well as CERF'd annually. My most important goal is to produce sound temperaments and healthy family members that can win in the show ring or the field, but most of all win the hearts of their humans.

We have the number one female for 1999, Ch. Hitmans Charm N Ginger Bear.
Her daughter just finished with 5-3 point majors in 6 shows at 13 months of
age. We have been in labradors for 28 years and have 13 other champions.
We have show, field and companion dogs. We try and have an all around dog
for people to have fun with at what ever they choose to do with their dogs.
We raise a few litters a year and feel that it is important to socialize the
puppies and provide them with a good home before they leave. We also OFA
and CERF or breeding stock. We raise mostly yellows.
